Course Description:
This course provides participants with an overview of how to use Time Chart functionality. It works with a pre-developed timetable and works through the most commonly used functions and daily tasks in Time Chart. It is an ideal introductory course for teachers and administrative staff new to the role of timetabling. Please note, this course does not instruct an attendee on how to prepare a timetable. Course Outline
In this session you will learn:
- how to log into Time Chart on your school network
- how the Time Chart toolbars work and their functions
- how to prepare a student, group or class list
- how to view a student, student group and teacher timetable (both daily and weekly)
- how to view 'blocks' of subjects
- how to locate teachers free
- how to link windows
- how to name time slots and how to edit a timetable
You will be provided with a Time Chart course guide at the start of the session which is yours to keep as an on-going reference guide, and while the session is structured as per the Course Outline below, there will be opportunities for you to ask questions at all stages.
What do I need to bring?
We encourage you to bring your own laptop with Time Chart installed (there is no need to bring a copy of your current timetable as we will be using an example timetable data-set. If you do not have a licenced copy of Time Chart, we will install a copy onto your laptop before the class starts. If you are not able to bring your own laptop, please contact us in advance and AMIG Systems will have a laptop ready for you to work from on the day.

Light refreshments including tea and coffee will be available. Lunch is not provided.
