Updates are currently available for Time Chart 6 (single user and network versions), Time Chart Extra 5 (single user and network versions) and Web Time Chart.
These are maintenance updates for users with current Support Plans. The updates do not provide the complete software and will not work unless you have a current installed version of the relevant software. In particular, Time Chart users require a current Time Chart Support Plan to use the upgrade.
To update your software:
- Always back up your existing installation and data files to a separate and secure location prior to updating.
- Click on the link that corresponds to your installed software. This will download a ZIP file
- Expand the ZIP file (you will need a program such as winzip, filzip, or zipfree to do this). The ZIP file will expand to an EXE file.
- Copy the EXE file to the program directory of your software (make sure the software you are downloading is not already running before copying).
- To check the update, run your software and select Help > About to show the version number.
If you are not sure where your program is installed:
- Run your software
- Select 'File' > 'New Data'.
- Take a note of the program directory
- Cancel from 'New Data' and 'Quit' from the software.

TIME CHART Correct
Export Correction for Qld Schools
(219k, 23 November 06) for users who have Time Chart 5.2 or later. This program resolves data problems after an export from SMS into Time Chart.
Queensland schools exporting from SMS to Time Chart may find that some of their data (timetables under development, block files or Time Chart Extra data) has become scrambled after doing the export. The scrambling is caused by subject, teacher, room or roll class codes being exported in a new order which does not match the earlier data.
Time Chart Correct alters the order of the exported codes so that they match the codes from a recent backup, thus unscrambling your data.
